Schnitzer West, LLC is one of the Pacific Northwest’s leading commercial real estate investment and development companies. Formed in 1997 by Managing Investment Partner Dan Ivanoff of Seattle and Schnitzer Investment Corp. of Portland, Schnitzer West has a proven track record of success. We are currently expanding to other growing regions in the Western U.S. including Denver, Northern California and Southern California.

Schnitzer West offers a powerful combination of creative, and entrepreneurial development and investment expertise, coupled with the financial strength of a respected investment company. The company is comprised of four business units (Development, Investments, Structured Capital, Asset Operations). While each operates independently, our structure evokes collaboration and creates synergies that ultimately deliver superior results.

Our focus on value creation and risk management drives our building design, our acquisition of real estate, our choice of markets—in short, everything we do. Proven track record. Schnitzer West has developed approximately two million square feet of Class A and suburban office, flex and biotech space and luxury multi-family apartment units in the Seattle and Portland markets. Additionally, Schnitzer West has acquired and repositioned approximately one million square feet of commercial properties. Another five million square feet of development is in the pipeline for the Seattle region. Schnitzer West currently manages approximately four million square feet of property.
